In the new episode of What If…, Chile’s Minister of the Environment, Maisa Rojas, reflects on the responsibility and opportunity of bringing textiles into Chile’s Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) law in 2025, alongside the newly approved Circular Economy Strategy for Textiles with a 2040 horizon. We also discuss how Chile is positioning itself as the first country in the Global South to host a summit dedicated exclusively to tackling textile pollution.
